Tipping Point viewers were left fuming after one contestant got a seemingly “obvious” question very wrong.
Ben Shephard headed up the popular ITV show on Monday night (July 4) and welcomed four new contestants to their podiums.
One contestant named Rick was posed the “easy” question by host Ben, but didn’t get it correct, which let viewers at home up in arms.
The question that Ben asked was: “Mayo is the Spanish word for which month of the year?”

To which he answered: “March,” before realising he had got it horribly wrong.

Viewers watching on from their homes who often participate in discussion on Twitter via the hashtag #TippingPoint, were quick to comment on the rookie slip up.
One viewer took to Twitter to fume, and said: “What month of the year in Spanish is Mayo #TippingPoint. Dear readers he guessed March.”
“The clue was in the question Mayo = May,” said another.

“Mayo was obviously March,” joked someone else.
A fourth then asked: “March??!! Where on earth do they find these people?”
While someone made a joke and penned: “Mayo. Fu**in’ Hellman,” hinting at Hellman’s mayonnaise.
This comes after the popular gameshow celebrated its 10 year anniversary on Saturday, July 2.

To celebrate a decade of the popular gameshow, ITV aired its first ever episode again over the weekend.
And with Ben hosting the show from the get-go, he welcomed four contestants onto the show and to their podiums.
Viewers who tuned in to reminisce over the show, were quick to notice that host Ben – who has been at the helm since the start when he was just 37 – hasn’t aged at all over the past 10 years.
