TOWIE's Chloe Sims takes swipe as GMB's Charlotte Hawkins 'upsets' her with blunder

Ex-TOWIE star Chloe Sims took a bit of a swipe after Good Morning Britain broadcasted an incorrect fact about the Sims family.

The reality star was welcomed into the ITV studio alongside family members Charlie, Frankie and Demi to talk about their new reality TV show which will air on OnlyFans TV.

However just minutes into the segment, Charlotte, 47, realised they had “already upset” the family by saying they were from Basildon when they aren’t.

Sharing a brief insight to the upcoming show, the GMB clip said: “From Basildon to Beverly Hills, there’s a new family in town.”

As it came back to the studio, the former Sunrise host could be heard saying: “Uh oh, we upset you already,” before asking: “Did you need to make a correction on that point?”

“We’re not from Basildon, hun,” Chloe simply responded.

Rectifying the error, Charlotte added: “We’d just like to make that clear in that case.”

The Sims family are famed for starring on The Only Way Is Essex, with eldest sibling Chloe making her first appearance nearly 12 years ago.

Chloe admitted that her decision to leave TOWIE was “really hard” but went on to say that working directly with her family is something she’s “always wanted” to do.

When asked how they feel about the show being broadcasted on OnlyFans TV, which is known for its X-Rated content, Charlie revealed that OFTV is the “sister platform” which is now stepping away from explicit content.

He added: “It’s going to be suitable for anyone to watch and they can download it from anywhere.”

In order to film the show, the siblings have to move in together which is something they aren’t familiar with.

Speaking about the intensity of their upcoming arrangement, Demi explained: “To be living together, working together and socialising together, it’s going to be a lot. There’s going to be a lot of bickering.”

She added: “I think it’s going to be really good and I think you’re going to get to see a raw, uncut side of us that you’ve never seen before.”

The upcoming show has been likened to the hit series Keeping Up With The Kardashians which is famed for creating reality TV’s most famous family.

When asked how their show will be different compared to what has already been seen before, Demi revealed being taken out of Essex and living in America is what viewers will find interesting.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
