This Morning turned rather awkward this week as presenter Alison Hammond begged: “Take the cameras off me.”
Thankfully, her loyal co-star Dermot O’Leary was there to offer his immediate support as being on-screen proved a little too much for Alison.
On Friday (June 30), Alison begged bosses not to film her while she reapplied her make-up live on air after a bad hay-fever flare-up.

Interrupting the segment, Alison said: “Sorry, can I get a tissue? I’ve got really bad hay-fever that’s just come on.”
But it didn’t stop there, as during a chat with Dr Megan Rossi, Alison asked if her allergies could be brought on by her “gut health”, with Rossi answering: “There is a lot of connection there.”
Poor Alison then apologised: “I’m sorry, I just have to blow my nose. Don’t put the camera on me for one second. Thank you,” she told the gathered crew.
Dermot thankfully reached over to grab his co-star a tissue, while Alison groaned: “It’s so embarrassing.”
Dermot then reassured her: “You look good bubba. Are you done? Amazing.”
“I’m so embarrassed!” Alison repeated.
The Great British Bake-Off star has discussed her battle with seasonal allergies in the past, telling viewers back in March: “Argh, hay-fever kicks in today, is anyone else at home feeling that hay-fever fire? I think it’s tree pollen – apparently, so yeah, I’ve got a lot of hay-fever going on but we’re going to get through this together.
“You know, hay fever, runny eyes, the nose thing, I don’t feel too well,” she added.

It comes after Alison issued an emotional statement over her departed co-star Phillip Schofield, after he left This Morning due to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger colleague.
Alison broke down in tears as she said: “I loved Phillip Schofield. It’s weird because I still love him. As a family, we’re all really struggling to process everything.
“My mum always said use your Bible as your sat nav. He without sin cast the first stone. I don’t want to say anything bad because I am in conflict.”
“There is only so much a man can take.”
