Ant and Dec left their fans with their jaws on the floor after they spotted something “wrong” about the pair at the 2023 BAFTA TV Awards.
The Geordie duo joined their fellow showbiz pals at the biggest night in telly on Sunday (May 14) – with the pair bagging themselves a nomination for Saturday Night Takeaway.
However, the pair, whose real names are Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, lost out on the gong for Entertainment Programme to rival show The Masked Singer.

While Strictly Come Dancing and Later… with Jools Holland: Jools’ 30th Birthday Bash was also nominated.
But as Joel Dommet gave his acceptance speech on stage, the camera panned to Ant and Dec in the audience – and eagle-eyed fans clocked something rather strange.
They noticed that the BGT hosts were not sitting in their usual places – with Ant usually being on the left and Dec on the right.
Rushing to Twitter to share their shock and Ant and Dec dropping their tradition, one viewer fumed: “Ant & Dec are the wrong way round!”
“Ant & Dec are sat the wrong way round. It’s stressing me out,” proclaimed someone else.
Echoing their thoughts, a third said: “Ant & Dec sitting as Dec & Ant at the BAFTAAwards is messing with my mind!”
“Wait a minute ….. Ant and Dec are sitting the wrong way round aren’t they?!!!” said another viewer.
It was a jam-packed BAFTA ceremony – and things straight away took a savage turn when the show’s host made a savage dig at Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, amid their “feud.”
Opening the show, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan didn’t hold back when they made a savage dig at fellow showbiz stars Holly and Phil.
“Some incredible programs are nominated tonight,” said Romesh.
“Imelda Staunton is here, that’s exciting isn’t it,” Rob added.
“She’s nominated for her performance in The Crown.
Apparently Phil and Holly got to watch that a couple of days before everyone else,” he quipped in a savage dig at the pair.
Romesh fired back while laughing: “A little bit of edge for you early doors! How d’ya like that?” while his co-host added that “all the ITV guys” are trying to keep a straight face.
Rob was referring to Holly and Phil “skipping the queue” to see the late Queen lying in state last year – shortly after she passed away.
