Beyoncé’s skirt portion was slightly a darker shade of orange and she accessorised her outfit with a charcoal-orange bag.

She styled her blonde locks in a high ponytail and completed her look with a gold open-toe heel.

The Single Ladies hitmaker made her grand arrival arm-in-arm with Jay-Z, who wore a black suit with a white shirt.

Jay-z and Beyoncé’s eldest child Blue Ivy, 11 was also in attendance rocking a royal blue, off-the-shoulder dress with her brown tresses styled in long thin braids.

Beyoncé documented the trip on Instagram by sharing a series of snaps from the event.

Several of the images showed the Diva singer holding up what looked to be a promotional book for the event that read ‘The Book Of HOV’ in white on the blue cover.

According to the event’s website, The Book of HOV exhibition includes “thousands of archived objects, including original recording masters, never-before-seen photos, iconic stage wear, prestigious awards and recognitions, as well as videos and artifacts from every facet on Jay-Z’s professional life”.

The exhibition, which is now open to the public, covers most of the Brooklyn Public Library’s 352,000 square feet.

It comes after Beyoncé almost spilled out of her pink dress while she was on stage.

The Halo singer was in Hamburg, Germany with her highly-acclaimed Renaissance show when she almost had a wardrobe mishap.

She was wearing a sparkly pink dress with a cut-out across the chest as she was singing Break My Soul, and it appeared to shift to the side, leaving her in danger of spilling from the top.

The moment took just a couple of seconds and the routine was barely interrupted at all.
