Britney Spears appears to slam ITV I’m A Celeb sister Jamie Lynn in ‘fight’ post

Britney Spears appeared to slam her younger sister Jamie Lynn as she posted a cryptic message that was just 10 words long.

Jamie Lynn is currently taking part on ITV’s hit reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! While on the show, Jamie opened up on her tumultuous relationship with the Gimme More singer, as well as the fights among the family during the fallout of Britney’s controversial conservatorship.

But Britney appears to not have been a fan of her sister airing the family’s grievances in Australia. She then took aim at her sister after she posted a quote from hit Disney film The Aristocats.

She uploaded an animated clip from the film with a white kitten chatting to a younger feline friend. The younger cat starts the video: “Well, she started it!” and the white kitten simply responds: “Ladies do not start fights – but they can finish them.”

In a conversation with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, Jamie Lynn opened up on how she had gotten on with her big sister, adding that she believed Britney would be “worried” for her. “I think she’s checking in on me heavily,” she admitted.

Jamie Lynn revealed that Britney was shocked that her younger sister was going into the jungle for the show, whilst she responded: “I’m going to go to Australia and check it out.” Jamie jokingly added that Britney would be asking production to take her out the show after seeing her in tears.

She also praised the Work singer for being a “good big sister”, though she did acknowledge the family often have big fights. It came in the wake of Britney’s controversial conservatorship, which saw Britney lose control of her assets and instead be given to dad Jamie.

“I love her,” she said of her older sister. “Me and her throw down, the world’s seen that.”

She continued: “I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, families fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.”

Britney and Jamie Lynn had previously been close, but things exploded into a huge debacle, after singer Britney revealed Jamie Lynn had supported the conservatorship. The pair then launched into a long-running online spat.

Britney admitted in her recent memoir The Woman in Me that Jamie Lynn was a “total b***h” growing up. However, Jamie Lynn hit back at Britney’s book, saying her sister made claims “without any self-reflection”.

I’m A Celebrity airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
