Rock and Roll star Bruce Springsteen has postponed his tour until 2024 due to his battle with peptic ulcer disease.
The star has been suffering from the illness in recent months and previously missed performances due to his health issues. Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of your stomach and the upper portion of your small intestine and can be very painful.
Bruce will be following doctors’ advice and continue to have treatment for the rest of the year with hopes of being back on stage in the new year. The rockstar had been on tour with the rock band, The E Street Band, and the whole group has decided to postpone the tour.

The E Street Band posted a statement that read: “Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice.
“With this in mind, and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be postponed until 2024. Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week, all taking place at their originally scheduled venues.”
Bruce also issued a statement that read: “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.”
People with tickets to the show and are unable to make the new date will be able to request a refund within 30 days, the statement explained. Last month it was announced that Bruce was “taken ill” and was unable to perform his August shows.
A statement posted on August 16 on X, formerly known as Twitter, read: ” “Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 have been postponed.
