Chris Kamara has been unmasked as The Masked Singer’s Ghost after just one performance.
The football legend took part in the famous ITV show after thoroughly enjoying watching it at home – particularly after fellow footballer Michael Owen did so well last year.

Despite getting axed after just one performance, Chris seemed to enjoy himself, but one thing he was looking forward to was the look on his wife’s face after realising he had taken part in the show.
Speaking after his exit, Chris said his grandkids inspired him to do the show because he wanted to see the “surprise on their faces” when he was unmasked.
He added: “Not even my wife knows, so it’s going to be a surprise for the whole family. I’m not the best at keeping secrets so I’m not sure what will shock them most, taking part in the show or keeping it a secret.”
Chris added that he “can’t wait” to see their reactions after managing to keep it all under wraps for so long.
The star explained that as a family they all love watching The Masked Singer, adding: “It’s a fan-favourite in our house. My grandkids love the characters and we love to play along. I can’t say I’m particularly good with my guesses though.”
And it seems the judges were not quite so good with their guesses either, because none of them managed to figure out that it was Chris Kamara under the mask.
Guesses of Ghost’s identity included the likes of Iain Stirling and Love Island’s Dr Alex, which Chris described as “very funny”.
He added: “I tried to disguise my voice but I still thought they’d guess my straight away. It’s really hard not to say something back when they talk to you.”
Chris’ unmasking comes shortly after fans were left disappointed over his outfit, with many viewers blasting ITV for “blowing the budget” on the other costumes.
The simple ghost costume – which was just a sheet, some eyes and a pair of red boots – went up again full blown suits which resembled a Phoenix and and Otter, to name a few.
However, Chris was more than happy with his outfit – and it was only a one-time wear for him.
The Masked Singer, Saturdays at 7pm on ITV1 & ITVX
