Danny Dyer and Emily Atack have landed major roles in a new hit Disney show alongside award-winning actors David Tennant and Aiden Turner.
The four impressive actors have joined the cast of the upcoming series The Rivals – which is based on Jilly Cooper’s award-winning novel.
The eight-part series will involve romantic entanglements, sex and unforgettable characters against the backdrop of the power-grabbing social elite in 1980s England.

Also joining the cast is Alex Hassell, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Victoria Smurfit, Claire Rushbrook, Oliver Chris, Lisa McGrillis, Rufus Jones, Luke Pasqualino and Catriona Chandler.
Former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer will play the role of the honourable, loyal, lovable self-made electronics millionaire Freddie Jones.
Comedian Emily Atack will transform into Sarah Stratton who is the new wife to Deputy Prime Minister Paul Statton, performed by Rufus Jones.
The Disney series takes place in the fictional country of Rutshire as a long-standing rivalry between two powerful men suddenly explodes.
Alex Hassel will take on the part of Rupert Campbell-Black, an ex-Olympian and Tory MP meanwhile, David Tennant will play Ruper’s single-mindedly ambitious Rutshire neighbour Lord Tony Baddingham.
The film giants have confirmed production on the new TV series has already begun as fans shared their excitement of the new series online.
Speaking about the new series, Executive Producer and Rivals author Jilly Cooper said: “I’m utterly enchanted to be able to announce our all-star line-up for Rivals.
