‘Devastated’ Vanessa Feltz ready to move on with new man after split from ex

“Brave” Vanessa Feltz “wants to move on” from her ex and find the one, says Celebs Go Dating guru Anna Williamson.

The 61-year-old TalkTV host split from her ex of 16 years, singer Ben Ofoedu, at Christmas after finding out that he’d cheated on her multiple times.

Vanessa, 61, has now thrown herself back into the dating game on the upcoming series of Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating, alongside the likes of Love Island stars Chloe Burrows and Kate Moss’ sister Lottie Moss.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, she said: “We were really delighted that she wanted to come on the show, and she really does want to find love.

She wants to move on from the heartbreak of her ex, she wants to move forwards and I think it’s really exciting for her to come on.”

Hinting at some emotional scenes with Vanessa, Anna added: I think viewers are going to be intrigued as she unpacks the devastating heartbreak she’s been through.”

Teasing the best series of Celebs Go Dating in years, Anna added: “Brace yourself is all I’m going to say. It’s probably the most explosive series of Celebs Go Dating we’ve done in years.

“It’s got one hell of a cast who are absolutely taking to the task of showing us what they’ve got, or rather what they haven’t got, in terms of dating.”

Vanessa recently told Daily Star that the first date she went on during filming for the series was “absolutely terrifying”.

Speaking to Daily Star at the TRIC Awards, Vanessa said: “The first date was absolutely terrifying. I think I’ll get into it as more weeks go by because it’s only the beginning.”

While she’s getting back out there, Vanessa said she’s not getting closure from doing the show.

She added: “I think it’s a long way before I’m anywhere near any closure. I don’t know about closure, but it’s a very good distraction.”

The new series of Celebs Go Dating airs on Channel 4 this summer.
