EastEnders fans are buzzing with excitement after a comment was made in the latest episode that could be a hint about who’ll be killed in Albert Square this Christmas.
The soap released a teaser earlier this year, with a “flash-forward” scene showing an unknown man lying on the floor and Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) confirming that the mystery character is dead.
Speculation has swirled since then about who the man is, but in the episode shown tonight (Thursday, April 20) there was a comment that might point towards his identity.

And it might also have been a hint about who the chief suspect will be.
In the teaser shown by the BBC soap, five other women were at the scene alongside Sharon – Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal).
As well as not revealing who had died, it wasn’t clear from the clip if it was an accident or murder – and if it was murder, who was responsible.
But as tonight’s episode drew to a close, Suki went to visit Eve. She told her she loved her and her only concern about handing herself into the police to save Kheerat was not ever getting to see her lover again.
Eve suggested they run away from Albert Square together, but Suki warned that would mean they’d spend the rest of their lives looking over their shoulder as she feared what Nish would do if he found out.
And that’s when the comment that could reveal so much was made.
Suki begged Eve to bide her time with their relationship, before whispering: “Believe that I love you. We are going to get rid of Nish, for good, I promise.”
Actress Balvinder Sopal, who plays Suki, has previously said that anyone could die this Christmas, and any of the women in the teaser could be responsible.
“There’s so many people. I think it could have been any one of the six women involved, they’ve all got a motive,” she said.
“I would like it to be Suki, because I think it adds an extra dangerous element to her, but who knows?
“In terms of who meets their fate, it could literally be anyone. I think it could be Keanu, it could be Rocky, it could be Nish, it could be somebody who hasn’t been in the show for a long time, it could be somebody new who comes in.
“And I think maybe all of the women might be involved.”
