Danniella Westbrook has revealed that she’s gearing up to undergo “major surgery” after enjoying a relaxing holiday abroad.
The 49-year-old TV star took to Instagram on Thursday (April 6) to share an inspirational quote before revealing that she would be going under the knife shortly.
Danniella, who is best known for portraying Samantha Mitchell in EastEnders, has spent several weeks preparing herself by taking a relaxing holiday to Portugal, with her sharing bikini snaps galore.

Sharing the inspirational quote on Thursday, ahead of her surgery, the graphic read: “The comeback is personal. It’s an apology to myself.”
Danniella penned a caption alongside the quote which read: “Major surgery in 24 hours it’s all about my time now.”
Fans of the starlet were quick to flock to the comments sections to wish her well and pen sweet good luck messages.
The mum-of-two has been preparing for her major operation for a while, with it said to be her fifth and final surgery stint
Back in 2018, Danniella underwent a rib insertion procedure after osteoporosis caused her cheekbones and gums to rot, as well as the former soap star having lip filler and Botox.
Her string of procedures and looming “final” operation come after the beloved star was left with weakened bones (osteoporosis) in her nose and a collapsed jaw and cheekbones due to past cocaine addiction.
Danniella recently spoke of how she had spent seven years “trying to get somebody to do it [the surgery]”, adding: “but they said no in case it failed and they got struck off”.
“Plastic surgeons wanted £500,000 to change my face, so I thought I was never going to get it done. It was only because I went into intensive care before Christmas last year,” she added.
“I couldn’t breathe because I had a cold. There was a build up of fluid and after I fell asleep I couldn’t wake up properly and ended up in ICU.
“I was sent over to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool and it’s only because I was put in front of the right doctors, or else I’d still be waiting now to find someone.
“That’s why I’m doing this. I need this surgery to survive. It’s not for vanity, this is about my health. It hampers my lifestyle on a day-to-day basis.”
