EastEnders Stacey Slater’s link to Christmas victim ‘confirmed’ in explosive trailer

Stacey Slater’s link to the Christmas death has been ‘confirmed’ in a shocking new trailer for EastEnders.

Fan favourite Stacey, played by Lacey Turner, took the spotlight in the BBC soap’s latest trailer released on Monday night (September 4).

She could be seen putting on red lipstick and staring into a mirror which read: “In a flash.”

A broken mirror then reveals the words: “Everything changes,” perhaps written in blood.

Fans have been wondering who the mysterious victim is laying on the floor of the Queen Vic pub this Christmas and how six ladies were involved.

Each of the Six women, including Stacey, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, Linda Carter, Denise Fox, and Kathy Beale, is set to receive a trailer before Christmas arrives, unraveling the mystery of the death.

While the victim’s gender is clear, their identity, the circumstances of their presence, and the question of accidental demise versus deliberate murder loom unanswered, leaving viewers in suspense.

The soap has been releasing distinct trailers for each woman as part of their respective storylines.

However, only Denise’s trailer has so far been viewed by fans.

And this trailer seems to link Stacey to the Christmas victim.

The tide turned on Monday’s dramatic episode as Stacey finally discovered Theo Hawthorne was her stalker.

After a dramatic episode, the soap’s official Twitter account shared the video, captioning it: “In a flash, everything changes… Don’t miss #EastEnders. Monday – Thursday on @BBCOne & @BBCiPlayer. #Stacey #TheSix.”

Back in February, Lacey shared her perspective on the matter.

She mused: “When we first had the meeting about the storyline, I immediately thought it was someone who wasn’t in Albert Square yet.

“I don’t think it’s a character that is actually on the show at the moment, but the more that time goes on, and the more the six of us have chatted away, I feel like it’s an accidental death.”

She continued: “I don’t think it has been done on purpose, and I think that it’s more of a group effort rather than one sole person, and if it is one individual, then I think all of the women are covering for them.

“I think we all might know something we shouldn’t know and we’re all covering for each other, and maybe the person hasn’t been killed? In terms of who meets their fate, I have a certain person in mind at the moment, but I think my guess is too obvious and I’m probably wrong.”
