Emma Stone was left ‘black and blue’ after a horror incident while getting out of the shower stark naked.
The Poor Things actress was seen hobbling slightly at the New York premiere of Yorgos Lanthimos’ new film, in which she stars as ‘horny legend’ Bella Baxter. Speaking on the SmartLess podcast, she explained: “I broke my toe yesterday… getting out of the shower!
“I slammed it into something and now it’s completely black and blue and all messed up and so I’ve been icing it all day.” She joked she has “bone density issues”, admitting: “Something’s wrong with me.

“An endocrinologist was like, ‘We’ve gotta talk about this, like, something’s up with you’. [I was told] that I need to take a lot of vitamin D and calcium and do apparently weight-bearing exercises, like heavy lifting is what creates more bone density.”

Emma broke her shoulder in two places before heading to the UK for a Spice Girls concert, while watching magician David Blaine. She giggled: “He did just an astounding trick. He did this card trick and then it was this whole thing. It was an illusion if you will.
“And he pulled up his phone and the card was reflected in the picture on someone’s phone, you know, in the glasses on someone’s boat. It was this crazy thing, and I got so excited — now this is a tale as old as time because I’m about to tell you a story from yesterday as well — I got so excited that I ran, because I’m such a big fan of magic, and I ran.
“And I was wearing these heeled boots and I slipped on these wood floors, it was the night before the Spice Girls concert, slipped, my arm went back out behind me, and I broke my f***ing shoulder.”

Emma then headed to the concert in a sling without even getting an X-ray, admitting: “And I was in so much pain that actually meeting the Spice Girls under those circumstances was probably better so I couldn’t do that in front of them instead.”
The actress even ended up with a black eye the week of her wedding to Dave McCary in 2020. She said: “The week that I got married, I did open a refrigerator and the handle broke off and I got a black eye. I need a helmet and extensive therapy!”

Turning up at the London premiere of Poor Things, Emma stepped out without a bra on in a nearly see-through slip dress, featuring a plunging V-shaped neckline. She exposed some side-boob to the assembled cameras in the ankle-length dress, which featured a chunky hemline and silk stripe across her waist.
The dress rose in criss-cross corset style ribbons under her armpits before ending in simple straps over each shoulder. Emma slipped into a pastel blue velvet jacket with huge puff sleeves, letting the coat fall off her shoulders to leave them bare as her fiery red hair fell in elegant waves down her back.
