Emmerdale viewers seem to think Cain Dingle never pushed his brother Caleb which could have led to his demise.
During Friday night’s programme (June 16), fans got to witness the aftermath of Caleb’s deadly drop and discovered that he was still alive.
While walking his dog, Cain found a bloodied Caleb injured in the woods. Staring at him intensely from a distance, Cain later called an ambulance.

But although the police and Chas Dingle appear to be pointing their fingers in Cain’s direction as the culprit who pushed Caleb, fans believe he is not to blame.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Can’t see Cain ringing an ambulance if he pushed him. I think Nicky or Will.”
Another penned: “Definitely wasn’t Cain that pushed Caleb he would never have rung an ambulance…so who pushed him??”
A third shared: “Cain has phoned for the ambulance for Caleb. Surprised he didn’t just leave him. Cain is a lot of things can beat people up and be verbal but he’s not a killer!”
While a fourth added: “There’s no proof that it was Cain…. He might have been admiring the view from the cliff.”
Later on in the drama, while Caleb was in the hospital a detective spoke to Cain.
Asking him about what he saw before he called the ambulance, the officer confirmed that Caleb was pushed deliberately.
However, viewers were confused as to how the police were already able to detect that Caleb’s fall wasn’t an accident after he was only discovered a few hours prior.
Taking to Twitter again fans shared their thoughts.
Referring to Liam Cavanagh’s daughter, Leanna who was pushed off a cliff, one viewer said: “Wait, Leanna’s pushed off a bridge to her death & at first the Police just assume it was an accident, cos she’s been drinking & wasn’t used to the shoes she’d borrowed off Leyla.
“Yet when Caleb has a similar incident they immediately assume he was pushed really?”
While another added: “That’s some police service, within half an hour of finding him they already suspected something wrong.”
