Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls sternly told co-host Andi Peters to “do some work” after he was revealed to be in another sunny location.
Andi, who presents the competition segment for the morning show, spoke to presenters Ed and Susanna Reid from Tenerife, telling them and viewers how they can join in on his lavish trip by entering the competition.
As Ed and Susanna crossed over to Andi, Ed said: “Andi Peters is bizarrely in Tenerife, why is he there?”

Susanna stepped in to defend Andi’s choice of location, saying: “Why is it bizarre? I love Tenerife, it’s sunny it’s gorgeous and frankly who could blame him.”
“Do some work, Andi!” Ed retorted.
Thank you Susanna,” Andi replied. “She hit the nail right on the head there.”
He added: “It’s glamorous it’s sunny, it’s a little bit chic and that’s what I do Ed.”
Once Andi had completed his segment he told viewers that if they entered, they’d be able to “live like him” on the sunny Spanish island, but quickly added: “Not Ed though,
“He doesn’t appreciate that my life is spending time in glamourous locations around the world.”
Viewers were equally as confused as Ed and some were even angry at Andi’s jet-setting habits for the competition segment.
One took to Twitter to air their thoughts, writing: “It is so unmindful that Andi Peters visits luxurious destinations to promote a “lottery” for want of a better word.”
“We are in a cost of living crisis where many people can’t afford heating or food and they would also love a break away. Why can’t it be promoted from the studio?” they asked.
Another slammed the show’s “hypocrisy,” writing: “This programme loves to lecture us about Climate Change but never misses an opportunity to jet the annoying Andi Peters to Tenerife or wherever to talk about a competition! Such hypocrisy.”
