‘I started flogging racy snaps in my 40s and love it – it’s best of both worlds’

TOWIE star Chloe Sims elaborated on why her adult subscription site stood as the most secure platform for attractive famous personalities, saying there’s “no trolling”.

The 41-year-old telly personality relocated to Los Angeles with her three siblings in an attempt to establish themselves in Hollywood last year.

Their journey has been chronicled in an exclusive series on OFTV’s complimentary streaming service.

Since then, Chloe has not only joined the internet content subscription service, but also cashed in a significant amount of money from it.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, the ITVBe celeb explained that she launched her racy account as a result of wanting to avoid online abuse.

“In LA it’s normal to have OnlyFans, no one bats an eyelid to it, but here it has a bit of a stigma still with the ‘ole Brits,” Chloe said

Chloe explained: “When I used to use my other platforms, I used to wonder what it would be like to not have to put up with trolling.”

She continued: “When I joined OnlyFans, and I learned about the platform, I was actually over the moon to hear that if people just join it and have a fake profile and start trolling and being mean to people in there, you literally would get thrown off.

“You can’t just go on there and start abusing people. That’s absolutely unheard of.”

The TOWIE personality revealed she had joined the adult-only platform in July, and that she had not been the recipient of any abuse so far, referring to using OnlyFans as any other social media platform, minus the trolling.

“The fans that subscribe do so because they actually like you and not because they want to send any hate,” Chloe said.

“They’re just genuine fans, and then it creates a super safe space to connect with them,” she added.

The starlet went on to explain that the service could be used to share messages in a similar manner to Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter), and that it was “the best of both worlds”, due to its feed, stories and OFTV features, where “people can create content and make a series.”

Chloe confessed to being impressed with the systems OnlyFans had put up to stop cyber bullying, as she has had to “put up with it since day one of her career”.

“For me, it’s blown everything else out of the water,” she said.

Chloe continued: “I barely use my other social platforms. And that’s probably why you think I’m on holiday. Oh I only really use it when I’m doing something like that.”

As a mum to daughter Madison Green, whom she had in 2005 with a man whose identity she has kept private, Chloe emphasised on the importance of age restrictions.

“With OnlyFans you have to be over 18, and as a mum, I really do agree with that,” the telly personality said.

She added: “I think that I don’t think anybody under 18 should be on the platform because of the downsides of social media.”

The mum-of-one went on to recount the online abuse she has been the victim of while using TikTok.

Chloe explained: “I recently started to put makeup videos on there and I realised pretty quickly how it’s actually the worst one in my opinion, for abuse.

“So it’s rarely spoken about and it’s such a young platform.

“So I do think that they should have restricted at what age your children should be allowed to go on these sites.

“They’re actually pretty damaging, to get that kind of abuse and, also as a parent, like the fear of these people writing horrible comments to your children.

“It’s actually a scary space. So that’s another thing that I really like about OnlyFans and what they’ve done with the platform.”

Chloe concluded the interview by admitting the platform was better received in the US than in the UK.

“I joined in July but it took me a while to learn being in my 40s,” she said.

The London native added: “But being in LA it’s normal to have OnlyFans, no one bats an eyelid to it, but here it has a bit of a stigma still with the ‘ole Brits.”
