Fans of I’m A Celeb… South Africa were left gobsmacked during the latest episode after they noticed Joe Swash’s hair transformation.
The 41-year-old, who won the hit ITV series in 2008 returned to the show on Tuesday night (May 2) alongside fellow EastEnders star Dean Gaffney.
But when the programme revisited footage from when Joe was first on the show, fans were quick to spot that Joe’s famous ginger hair was evidently darker.

Heading over to Twitter, I’m A Celeb fans shared their thoughts.
One social media user said: “Wait Joe Swash has dyed his hair?”
Another penned: “Joe Swash has more hair this time around on #ImACeleb.”
A third chimed: “Joe must be using caffeine shampoo. That’s a great head of hair!”
“New hair on Joe Swash aka Stacey Solomon husband. Dean Gaffney what a legend. This is hilarious,” a fourth added.
Former EastEnders actor Joe has been fairly transparent about his hair overhaul and revealed that he previously underwent a hair transplant.
In 2018, the star had his third hair transplant in hopes of achieving a more thicker and fuller look.
He said: “I always walk around with a hat on, I’m in the public eye a little bit, so it makes me really conscious about things.
“I just want it to look a little thicker, I want to be able to go out without the hat on so much. My mum gives me a hard time about the hat, she’s always like ‘what you doing, get the hat off.'”
He added: “The reason I decided to have it done again is more to do with my own self-confidence.”
Joe and Dean’s return to I’m A Celeb was met with welcome arms on Tuesday night.
But fans were left disgusted by the “vile” drinking trial that they had to endure before they headed into camp.
Taking to Twitter again, one viewer wrote: “Nooooo that’s the worse drinking trial.”
Another penned: “I need a sick bucket watching this.”
While a third added: “Swear down. I wanna be sick just thinking of what #joeSwash is drinking.”
