ITV Big Brother airs ‘cruelest eviction ever’ as fans fume ‘that’s messed up’ over twist

Big Brother’s Matty has become the latest housemate to get evicted – and his exit has left fans gobsmacked.

The iconic ITV reality show returned for a brand new episode on Wednesday (November 15). With the final just days away, the countdown is on to see which housemate will take home the £100,000 cash prize.

And it’s fair to say it delivered on the drama. In shocking scenes, it was Matty who found himself evicted from the famous house.

However, instead of a usual live eviction with an audience outside, Matty was suddenly booted out while reading letters from home. After each housemate ready out their letter, it was time for Matty’s.

The shock eviction left fans stunned

But in a shock twist, at the end of the letter it was revealed that he had been evicted. He then had just 30 seconds to say his goodbyes.

Fans reacted to the news on on X, formerly known as Twitter. One person said: “That’s the cruelest thing Big Brother’s done this year tbh.” Someone else added: “This is so messed up.”

Matty was evicted

A third chimed in and penned: “Now that is brutal!” Another proclaimed: “Absolutely savage eviction but so poor to not surprise him with a crowd and some interaction. Do better next series.”

Echoing their thoughts, a fifth wrote: “Omg matty that was cruel man never seen a twist like that.” A sixth added: “That was so insane?? i didn’t think they’d do it like that omg.”

Matt’s exit means that Henry, Noky, Olivia, Jordan and Yinrun were confirmed to be the show’s finalists. One is set to be crowned winner on Friday night (November 17).

Earlier this week former housemates Jenkin and Tom got the boot in yet another major eviction. The pair were up for nomination along with Jordan. But Matty and Jenkin were sent home while Jordan was allowed to head back into the house.
