ITV This Morning fans demand Emma Willis is made permanent as she could ‘save’ show

This Morning viewers have said Emma Willis could “save” the ITV show as she continues to wow with Rylan Clark.

The presenter has joined her old Big Brother pal on the sofa this week, as the latest new pairing since the departure of long-term hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. And so far they have gone down a storm with fans.

Many are now pleading with show bosses to make Emma a permanent part of the line-up. “Love this duo!” one fan exclaimed on X, which used to be Twitter.

“@EmmaWillis is FINALLY a professional, informed, intelligent presenter to save your floundering show,” said someone else. “You’d be very silly not to make her permanent.”

Emma is hosting This Morning with Rylan

“Can we have Emma & Rylan as permanent hosts,” someone else asked. Another person said seeing Emma fronting the programme was “TV heaven”.

“Can we please keep Rylan and Emma as permanent hosts they are even better than the originals and genuinely funny but empathetic when required,” one fan commented. “They have so much energy and will definitely boost your ratings.”

Another viewer said in their opinion that Emma was a “leading” presenter. “I absolutely love @EmmaWillis presenting,” said another viewer. “Professional, classy, intelligent. Please be Holly’s permanent replacement.”

“Loving Emma!” posted someone else. Another viewer remarked: “Emma’s lovely I’d like to see her become the new Holly.”

Fans have been impressed with Emma’s hosting skills

This Morning has seen a few new presenting duos since Phillip and Holly exited after hosting the show together for close to 14 years. The pair were the most familiar faces on the sofa, presenting from Mondays to Thursdays before handing over to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on Fridays.

But Phil stepped down from his role in May amid a scandal that saw him admitting to having an affair with a younger colleague, which he described as “unwise but not illegal”. And then a few months later mum-of-three Holly also said goodbye to the show.

She quit in October after a man was charged in relation to an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her. At the time she said on Instagram that it was a “difficult goodbye” but that she had made the decision “for me and my family”.
