Jamie Foxx’s daughter has confirmed that her dad is at home recovering after his health scare last month.
Corrine Fox, 29, took to social media in April to say that her dad had suffered a “medical complication” the day prior while shooting the Netflix film Back in Action in Atlanta.
She has now updated fans and claimed her dad has been “out of the hospital for weeks” and is at home recovering.

Corrine took to Instagram with a statement from the family that read: “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild.
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!
“We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
Her story included a screenshot of an Instagram post from RapTV with the headline “Jamie Foxx’s Loved Ones Reportedly Preparing For the Worst.”
Though the specifics of Jamie’s medical condition have not been disclosed, the actor was hospitalized on April 11.
As minimal details about his condition have been shared, people have been speculating how serious his illness is.
Last week, sources told Page Six that the Django Unchained star was “still in the same condition” following his health scare.
Corrine posted a message to fans the day after he was hospitalised which read: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Jamie took to Instagram himself after the news of the hospitalisation and wrote: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed” followed by praying hands, heart and fox emojis.
