Katie Price avoids bankruptcy court date as hearing postponed for fifth time

Katie Price has reportedly avoided another court appearance after her bankruptcy hearing was postponed for a fifth time.

The reality star, 44, was due to attend a hearing regarding her £3.2m debt repayment at London’s Royal Courts of Justice on Wednesday (April 12), but it has now been pushed back to July 7.

Back in February, Katie’s hearing was moved back for a fourth time, having originally been scheduled to take place in June 2022.

It is said much of the £3.2m is owed to lenders for mortgages secured against her Mucky Mansion located in West Sussex.

Bankruptcy trustees are hoping to find out how much the former glamour model has been paid for her TV work which includes a Channel 4 show where she attempted to renovate her £2million country home.

The mum-of-five has also raked in plenty of money from OnlyFans, charging her subscribers £12 per month to access her lingerie snaps and raunchy videos.

Another source of income for the TV personality has been flogging her old clothes and memorabilia to her adoring fans online.

A court official previously confirmed: “There is a hearing in the Insolvency and Companies court on 9 February which will be heard in person”.

Katie, who was once worth £45m, was declared bankrupt in 2019.

Speaking about her bankruptcy hearing during a recent appearance on The Jeremy Vine Show, the TV personality admitted people shouldn’t be “ashamed” of it.

“I think you shouldn’t be ashamed if you have a bankruptcy because it’s for different reasons people go into a bankruptcy,” she explained.

Kate added: “I went through a really tough time in the last few years with my mental health. When you go through that, you put things to the side because you can’t cope with anything.

She went on to say: “I’m proud that I’ve come to the other end. It’s life isn’t it, sometimes you have to face these things but I’m happy and I’m in a good position. It is what it is.”
