Kevin Spacey has denied a claim made by a prosecutor in court who alleged he grabbed someone by the ‘b*****s’.
The House of Cards actor is in court for the second day giving evidence in his trial.
He currently is facing twelve sexual offence charges against four different men over the span of twelve years.
Spacey is charged with sexual offences that include both indecent and sexual assault on the victims.
He denies sex offences concerning four men, including sexual assault and indecent assault, which are alleged to have been committed between 2001 and 2013.
The offences relate to when Spacey, 63, was acting as the Artistic Director at The Old Vic theatre between 2001 and 2013.
It is during this time that the American Beauty star is alleged to have sexually assaulted the victims.
Facing trial at Southwark Crown Court, prosecutor Christine Agnew KC put to the actor: ‘You grabbed him by the crotch, didn’t you?’.
Spacey immediately denied it, replying “Absolute b******s”.
Miss Agnew then quipped: “Yes, that’s exactly where you grabbed him, isn’t it?”.
The defendant scoffed upon hearing, asking the judge: “Did he accuse me of grabbing his b******s?”.
After being told to answer the question from the prosecution, he replied “I did not”.
He added that the incidents were consensual at the time, which the complainants may have later ‘regretted’.
Whilst in the witness box, Spacy vehemently denied having a ‘power wand’ that he could use ‘to get people into bed’.
The actor did admit whilst being cross-examined that he was promiscuous and ‘a big flirt’ after telling the court he had a ‘romantic’ sexual encounter with an up and coming actor at his apartment.
However, he clarified that the jury in that particular claim found that he had not abused the complainant.
The double Oscar winner denied that crotch grabbing was a ‘trademark’ move of his, adding that flirting depended wholly on the circumstances.
Jurors in the case have heard from the prosecution how Spacey is a ‘sexual bully’ who took pleasure in manipulating his victims.
But Spacey denies all the allegations and has pleaded guilty to all charges.
The trial continues.
