Singing sensation Lewis Capaldi was recently left red-faced when his mum let slip that she once had to rescue him from a one night stand.
In a trailer for his new Netflix documentary, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now, the 26-year-old Scottish musician can be seen exploring how his mental wellbeing has been impacted by his career.
Chatting candidly and honestly about being the global sensation that he his, and how his mental health has been affected, Lewis’ mum Carol can be seen teasing him.

Reflecting on how her son has still got “a lot of growing up to do”, Carol recalled a one night stand that her son once had where he needed her assistance.
The quip even left Lewis trying to cover up his mum’s mouth quickly.
Making a jibe about her son calling her for help, she said: “You need to phone your mother to come and pick you up from your one night stand.”
“That’s not a story that needs to be told,” Lewis responded coyly and clearly taken aback that his mum would reveal such a detail.
Not listening to her son and carrying on, Carol added: “Because you were having a panic attack.”
Frustrated, Lewis replied: “Glad you brought that up.”
Lewis has previously spoken openly about his anxiety, panic attacks and hypochondria – with his new documentary set to explore his issues more in-depth.
The teaser trailer was shared onto Lewis’ Twitter page on March 16, with the singer writing about the project.
He said: “Absolutely bricking it to show you the trailer for my Netflix documentary ‘How I’m Feeling Now”…
“[It] has been a weird two and a half years for me and it’s all been captured in this film.”
He jokingly concluded with: “The most emotional film about an overweight guy since The Whale x.”
Fans were quick to support the star, with one writing: “Thank you for wanting to share your most personal moments with us. And shout out to your mum for being so supportive lol.”
While a second added: “I’m really emotional. This is amazing. I’m so proud of you.”
Lewis’ touching documentary will drop onto Netflix on April 5.
