Lottie Moss admits to strained relationship with sister Kate after ‘poor childhood’

Model and reality star Lottie Moss has admitted she and sister Kate Moss have a strained relationship.

The 25-year-old is currently starring on the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating, shaking things up with ‘secret’ dates with fellow A-lister Adam Collard.

But Lottie, who also tried her luck with modelling, said that she has never been close with sister Kate.

Lottie first came to people’s attention when she was a bridesmaid for Kate, 49, at her wedding in 2011.

After that, the younger Moss was quickly headhunted by a modelling agency and worked for major brands such as Dolce and Gabbana and Calvin Klein.

But after facing the struggles of being a young model, Lottie left the catwalk in 2021 to focus on her own image.

To make money, she created an OnlyFans account and is now turning her attention to becoming a reality TV star.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she admitted that being the supermodel’s sister did give her a leg up in the industry, but she was adamant the pair has a strained relationship.

“Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap. I didn’t grow up with my sister giving us money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house,” she confessed.

She also revealed that her parents were bankrupt and as a result, Lottie had to pay for private school with the money she made from modelling.

But Lottie said she has no ill-intent for Kate, saying that she has been through her own struggles in the past.

“She’s allowed to have that. She doesn’t have to want a relationship with me,” Lottie pointed out.

The reality star said that she initially felt rejected by Kate not wanting to know her, but has since realised that her family dynamic is complicated.

“Just because she’s a really high-end model, it doesn’t mean that it’s any different in our family. We just don’t see eye to eye on many things.

“I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close. It is what it is.”

Moss is looking to launch a new angle in her career as the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating premieres later this month.

Lottie is excited to find love on the show in front of the cameras, saying when promoting the show that she was “nervous”.

But she added that she is looking forward to seeing people see her true colours and personality.

Celebs Go Dating will air every weeknight from next Sunday (August 20) at 9pm on E4.

The show will run from Sunday to Thursday for the upcoming four weeks.
