Love Island viewers say same thing as they notice recoupling 'rule' for bombshells

It’s fair to say Love Island wouldn’t be the same without their sizzling bombshells entering the villa left, right and centre ready to stir up trouble.

And it’s clear to see that recent newcomers Tom Claire and Ellie Spence have turned heads in the South African villa.

Now, viewers are convinced that the bombshell contestants are banned from coupling up from one another in the first few recouplings.

After watching the chemistry build between Ellie Spence and Spencer Wilks, fans have taken to Twitter to share their theory that newcomers are instead advised to go for Islanders who have been in the villa longer.

Sharing their predictions on the social media site, one user penned: “Sure this has been discussed and all but I need an answer (important questions) … Are #loveisland bombshells not allowed to couple up with each other?”

Another asked: “Are the bombshells allowed to couple up the first recoupling?” adding that it may be just the first fire-pit session that forbids them from coupling up.

A third questioned: “Why don’t ever two #loveisland bombshells couple up with each other? Is it not allowed?”

Notably, Francesca Allen and Chris Taylor from the fifth season of the ITV series entered the villa on the same day and coupled up with other contestants.

The brunette beauty later admitted that there was a “spark” between her and Chris after she was dumped from the villa.

However, Millie Court and Liam Reardon were both bombshells on the ITV show and went on to win the series in 2021.

The former couple dated for a year and a half before calling it quits after taking home the eye-watering cash prize.

Months later the Welsh heartthrob joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating where he attempted to find love again with the advice of relationship experts Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson.
