Love Island's Ron breaks silence on Lana plane 'feud' after drinking too much on flight

Love Island’s Ron Hall addressed the claims that say he and Lana Jenkins had a row on the flight home from South Africa last week.

Appearing on the ITV2 reunion show on Sunday night (March 19), Ron and Lana sat down with host Maya Jama to reflect on their time in the famous villa.

Chatting about what it was like to be in the villa and how life has been since leaving the lavish residence last week, Maya asked the couple about the “plane fight” rumours.

After Maya posed the question to the pair, who made it to the grand finale of the reality-dating show, Ron and Lana chuckled before the financial advisor broke his silence.

After landing back in the UK eagle-eyed onlookers revealed to The Sun how the couple forced smiles when they walked through the airport upon flying home.

One insider explained to the paper: “Lana and Ron had a furious argument on the plane home – the production crew had to step in and calm it down.”

Adding: They were so fuming they refused to film the ‘meeting the family’ part of the reunion show at Heathrow until producers stepped in again.”

But speaking to host Maya while sat on the sofas at the reunion show, Ron told of how he had “too many bevvies” and Lana was actually just looking after him.

Ron confessed: “I had a few too many bevvies, and to be fair Lana just looked after me.”

Blonde beauty Lana then added: “I was caring for him, not arguing with him.”

“She was going to the hotel and I was going back home so we got put into different cabs,” Ron went on to add.

With Lana agreeing: “Yeah so I think it just looked worse than it was.”

Making light of the situation, Ron said: “I’m not gonna lie I had a great flight.”

Fans went wild however, during their chat with Maya, with many swooning over their sweet and romantic bond.

“I like Ron and Lana, they’re genuine and don’t have to do the whole lovey dovey sh*t to prove they’re into each other,” penned one viewer.

While another gushed: “Ron and Lana holding hands at they’re table at the reunion. They melt my heart.”
