Madonna’s former love interest has said he doesn’t think she will ever slow down, after the singer spent time in intensive care with a serious bacterial infection.
The Queen of Pop, 64, fell ill in June and her manager told fans that she would have to “pause” all of her commitments, including her hotly anticipated Celebration tour.
She has now told fans she is “on the road to recovery” and that the plan is to hit the road for her shows later this year.

And her ex-Peter Kentes has suggested that Madge will “always be a headliner” and that he can’t see her taking her foot off the gas.
“She’s always been full of energy, out-working other performers, and I can’t see her ever slowing down,” he told The US Sun.
However, Peter – who met Madonna when she was 19 and said they shared an “an attraction” – said that although “no one beats age”, the Material Girl would “conquer this illness and have a successful tour”.
The star’s manager Guy Oseary posted a message on Instagram in June telling fans: “On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.
“Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care.”
“A full recovery is expected,” he went on.
The Vogue singer is now back at home and shared a health update last week.
The mum-of-six told her Instagram followers that when she first woke up in the hospital her first thought had been her children, and her second had been the tour.
“Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement” she said.
“I have felt your love.
“I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.”
