Megan McKenna has taken to social media to bravely show off her facial burns after a horror accident at home with a scalding jug of gravy.
The 30-year-old reality TV star turned musician logged into her Instagram page on Thursday (September 21) to share with fans the extent of her facial burns after the sauce covered the side of her face.
The “nightmare” incident occurred when Megan’s mother Tanya tripped overher dog Daisy while carrying the gravy jug over for a roast dinner. Megan warned her followers: “Before you freak, I’ve had a bit of an accident as you can see.

“On the weekend, I was at my mum’s and we were having dinner and she walked over with the gravy pot. Daisy (the dog) got underneath her feet, she tripped over Daisy, grabbed the gravy pot but the gravy inside flopped out and landed on my head.

“Honestly, you can’t even write it. It’s obviously caught the side of my face. It looks so much better now, it’s in the healing process, so it’s a little bit rank. It’s on my nose. I’ve got a huge blister behind my ear. My ear feels like it’s hanging off.”
Megan said her worried mum quickly sprang into action, dragging her over to the sink and sprayed her with water for half an hour. The reality star admitted: “If that hadn’t happened, I don’t know what it would have looked like. Thank god we were right near a sink and she knew what she was doing. It was a couple of house of stress.

The former TOWIE regular added: “But the reason I wanted to do a little video is because it is my birthday in a couple of days and I want to post and I haven’t posted and I didn’t want you messaging going ‘oh my god what’s happened’. Absolute nightmare, but I am on the mend and it’s all good. And I still love gravy.”
Megan recently revealed she’s moving in with footballer fiancé Oliver Burke. The couple announced their engagement in July this year after a whirlwind five-month romance.

Sharing a video montage of their holiday, she penned: “YES YES YES a thousand times YES. You have opened up a world I never thought was possible. I love you Oliver Burke… here’s to forever my future husband.”

The adorable video showed Celebrity Big Brother star Megan being surprised by sports man Oliver as he got down on one knee after enjoying a romantic boat trip to a secluded location in the Balkan country.
Oliver responded to the sweet post by commenting: ‘I promise to love you for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to grow old with you my wife to be. I love you. Forever. And always.”
