Molly-Mae Hague admits she was ‘miserable’ before romantic Tommy Fury proposal

Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she was feeling “miserable” before her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury proposed.

The former Love Island star, 24, was baffled when Tommy, also 24, popped the question whilst on holiday in Ibiza last week.

Hague initially thought that the pair were off to the sunny Spanish island for an event, before Tommy surprised her with the proposal on July 23.

Speaking in her first vlog since getting engaged, Molly-Mae revealed she had filmed content before he popped the question, adding it was interesting to rewatch the footage.

“This vlog was recorded before everything went down buy I couldn’t not come on and say hi, say I’m a fiancée,” she explained.

The new mum added that the footage showed her stressing about packing and frantically asking “why are we going to Ibiza?” with no clear answer.

She admitted that she was “completely fooled” by the rouse, thinking that the duo were set to go for a brand event.

According to Molly-Mae, Tommy set the entire event up, even going as far as to make fake invites, emails and notes in the hotel room.

But she also said that she was not in the right mindset when filming the content.

“I spoke about why I was a bit down in the dumps in this vlog,” she said.

“As a woman, when you have a gut feeling that something is not right and I couldn’t put my finger on what was going on, but Tommy was not acting himself and I think it was contributing to how I felt, something felt off.”

But despite feeling “miserable”, the cliffside surprise came as a shock to Molly-Mae, who was serenaded by her favourite singer surrounded by hundreds of roses.

Tommy also broke the bank with the engagement ring he bought for his fiancée, with estimates currently at £600,000 for the oval-cut diamond.

The couple have been on a high since welcoming their first child Bambi into the world just seven months ago.

But despite being so young, Bambi is already seeing the world, having already jetted off to five countries in her life.
