MTV Geordie Shore star ‘bullied’ into more plastic surgery – despite being a size six

Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed that she feels she is being “bullied” into getting surgery after being cruelly body-shamed by online trolls.

The MTV show legend, now aged 31, has been the victim of horrific abuse about her body after welcoming her beautiful new baby into the world. Trolls have regularly hit out at the reality star, with Holly now believing her body looks “abnormal” after having a child.

Hagan recently brought her first bundle of joy into the world together with doting dad and footballer Jacob Blyth this summer. Taking to Instagram, she posted some cosy shots from a video of the pair cuddling the child.

The screenshots see the reality icon dressed in a black gym jacket with vibrant mauve leggings, as she runs around her room jumping around – hoping to make her baby laugh. Holly is regularly praised by her fans for not hiding behind filters and instead choosing to show her “real body” – including unseen pics of her cellulite – for all to see.

Hagan had previously said that whilst she was pregnant with her uniquely-named son Alpha-Jax, her bum has almost “quadrupled in size”. But now, things have changed as she admitted she is feeling a wave of hate towards her, as she once again took to social media to vent her frustrations.

Writing in a post uploaded to her social media platforms, she said: “For some reason this video that’s been up for almost a week must’ve hit the explore page yesterday. I’m unsure why but it has hit the wrong side.

“I have never in the 13 years of doing this had so much abuse about the way I look in one hit,” she continued. “Last night was comment after comment and today I’ve woken up to more.”

She later questioned the trolls outright, asking what she would need to do to stop the vitriol. She quipped: “Do I need to put myself through more surgery to fix this? That terrifies me now knowing I have a child that needs me.”

Holly is no stranger to plastic surgery, having spent nearly £30k on procedures throughout the years. However, she has since come to regret it all and wished she had never gone under the knife.

Becoming emotional in the post, she continued to write: “I’m currently still six months postpartum and gained 50lb – the weight gain was all in my hips and bum. I have about another 18lb to go before I get to a point where I know my hips and bum will decrease in size.”

But luckily, loyal hubby Jacob was quick to shut down the haters and offer some well-needed words of encouragement to his wife. “Nearly 2024 and people comment negatively online about someone’s appearance,” he wrote.

Hitting out at the trolls, he continued: “What do you think drove her to get the surgery in the first place 10 years ago? Online abuse…like this. Do better people.”
