Piers Morgan “felt let down” by his Good Morning Britain co-stars when he stormed off the ITV show two years ago.
Back in March 2021, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and her husband Prince Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview – that would end up rocking the world.
The explosive interview made headlines around the world, with Good Morning Britain, among every other outlet, covering the story.

When the ITV1 breakfast show covered the story and touched on Meghan’s comments about feeling suicidal, things became heated – which led to Piers storming out of the studio never to return.
Last week, Gary Linker’s Match Of The Day co-stars supported him when he was taken off air after he was suspended for slamming the government’s new asylum policy.
Alan Shearer and Ian Wright refused to appear on the BBC sports show to back Gary.
A fan asked Piers on Twitter: “Were you disappointed that none of your colleagues didn’t present the day after you left GMB?”
He replied: “Would have been nice to see the same solidarity.”
A source has told OK! that Piers’ tweet is reportedly aimed at Susanna Reid, who continues to host GMB.
They told the publication: “Piers’ tweet was a cheeky dig at Susanna.
“He feels not just the TV executives should have been more supportive, but his co-hosts – including Susanna – should have been, too.
“No one came out and backed him, only his family, no one he worked side by side with. He felt let down.”
It comes after Piers took a swipe at Susanna in January this year, referring to her as “poor old woke Susanna”.
Speaking on Spencer Matthews’ Big Fish podcast, Piers said: “When I was at Good Morning Britain , and used to spew them [controversial opinions] all morning, every day, Susanna Reid would go, ‘That’s completely disgusting and outrageous.’.

“We would do a poll and it would be 90% in favour of me and 10% in favour of poor old wokey Susanna.
“And she’d say, ‘Just because I only got 10% it doesn’t mean I’m wrong’, and I’d say, ‘No, but it is a sign that I might be more in tune with what the public thinks’.”
Piers and Susanna started co-presenting GMB in October 2015 and their on-screen spats proved popular with viewers over the years.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 at 6am
