Snoop Dogg is bringing his Cali Rosé wine to the UK for the first time as he aims to move past the pretentiousness associated with the boozy beverage.
The king of chill launched Cali Red last year, in partnership with Treasury Wine Estates, to try and challenge the traditional opinions of wine.
And after the successful launch of Cali by Snoop, the partnership have ventured into something lighter, with Cali Rosé hitting 578 Co-op stores and selected NISA stores from September 25.

Costing £11.25 a bottle, the rosé blend from California promises “ripe fresh flavours of strawberries, cherries and raspberry, complemented with floral and petal aromas”.
It’s said to be go well with any occasion, from the warm summer afternoons the UK has been having recently to winter nights that the country is known for.
Creator Snoop Dogg said: “When I launched Cali Red, it got a lot of love in the UK, and I can’t wait to see what you think of the new Cali Rosé.
“For me, wine is all about the occasion. Whether you’re kicking back, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or sharing with the crew – sipped over ice with the playlist to match, my wine brings a little slice of that chilled Cali lifestyle.
“Just like Cali Red, I created Cali Rosé to go with anything, it doesn’t need to be fancy.”
He added: “It might surprise you that the sweet freshness of Cali Rosé is a match made in heaven for spicy foods. Spicy chicken wings, tacos, or even a curry would work.
“And with this Rosé, there’s no bigger seal of approval than having my face on it. So go try it and see for yourself.”
The label includes a photo of Snoop’s face and also invites customers to “ask the Doggfather” a question using augmented reality technology available via a QR code.
Cali Rosé will be available at selected Co-op stores nationwide from the 25th September. RRP at £11.25. Also available at selected NISA stores nationwide.
