The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo has said that she only joined one particular adult content sharing site after Covid-19 vaccine backlash.
51-year-old Matteo decided to launch a profile on the X-rated website after she lost acting roles due to her refusal to get the Covid vaccine.
Drea launched her profile in August 2023 and has addressed the aftermath she received by not getting vaccinated.

She spoke to Fox News about her experience: “I know some people have said nasty things about me having joined OnlyFans, but, you know, the way we see it in this house is ‘Mommy’s a warrior,’ not accepting defeat.”
“I am a very big supporter of stay-at-home moms and women who really love to raise their children. I balanced it all and I’ve done it all.”
Matteo charges $15 dollars for a subscription to her page and has been using her Instagram profile to promote her profile.
The actress continued: “I didn’t know this was going to have to be a change of life during a time I’m supposed to be relaxing a little bit, that I would have to switch careers and figure new things out because my own industry thinks I’m a savage.”
Drea was referring to the backlash from the film industry about her stance on the Covid-19 vaccine and told Fox News that her agent had dropped her because of her views.
Matteo also almost lost her house due to the controversy.
She branded herself a “bad girl” because she “didn’t follow the rules a couple of years ago” and “didn’t want to be at the mercy of mandates or strikes or anything like that ever again”.
Although she received a lot of negativity, Drea has received a lot of support from her family.
Her boyfriend Robby Staebler, from the band All Them Witches, and her children are all behind Drea’s decision to start up an OnlyFans account.
The actress said that her children encouraged her to launch the site and her daughter even said she would “edit the pictures too”.
Matteo starred as Adriana La Cerva in The Sopranos between 1999 and 2006.
The series, which is widely regarded as one of the best television shows of all time, saw her take on the role which won her an Emmy back in 2004.
