It’s been eight years since the smash hit show Tattoo Fixers made its debut on telly screens.
The E4 programme followed members of the public getting their dodgy tatts covered up by tattoo artists at a studio in Hackney, London.
In the series, Jay Hutton, Alice Perrin and Steven “Sketch” Porter all worked their magic to try to come up with the best design possible.

In 2018 it was revealed that Jay Hutton and Glenn Carloss, who joined in series four, would be replaced by brothers Pash and Uzzi Canby from Devon.
But a year later, and much to the shock of its viewers, Tattoo Fixers was not renewed for a sixth series and was taken off the air.
So what have the Tattoo Fixers cast been getting up to since the show finished? From returning to McDonald’s to settling down with kids, Daily Star is taking a look at the stars now.
Alice Perrin
Alice, from Herefordshire, was one of the OG tattoo artists on the show.
From a young age, she wanted to work in the industry and did a tattooing apprenticeship and fine art course at Hereford College of Art.
She also worked as a carer for the elderly on the side of her tattooing job, which left her “averaging three hours sleep for months”.
Speaking to Channel 4 bosses she said was so busy that her “eyelashes fell out”.
After completing her apprenticeship, she then bagged a job at a tattoo shop Dermagaphica in Hereford.
During her time on the show, Alice saw some rather wacky tattoos, and she herself has also had some inkings covered up.
“I wanted a tiny heart on my shoulder and the man that did it just made it disgusting, I didn’t think it would be possible to get a heart wrong but he did,” she revealed.
“It was so awful, I had it covered up with a lady and a moon sort of thing.”
Since her time on the show came to an end, Alice is still doing her thing and creating some jaw-dropping tattoos.
The stunner keeps her 345k fans updated on her work over on her Instagram.
Jay Hutton
Welsh hunk Jay became a firm favourite with viewers since his stint on the E4 show back in 2015.
He’s been tattooing since he was 18, and even owns his own studio called Adrenaline Tattoo Studio.
But in 2018, along with his co-star Glen Carloss, Jay said goodbye to show Tattoo Fixers for good.
Speaking to the Daily Post at the time, Jay said: “I’ve been on the show from the very beginning and it’s been amazing. I’ve met some great people and made friends for life.
“However I just felt it was the right time for me to make a change and move on. It’s been a crazy, but a very enjoyable ride and my life has changed dramatically.
A year after his shock exit from the show, Jay went back to his first job at McDonald’s.
The artist has teamed up with his old workplace to promote employment with the fast-food chain.
Working a shift in his local restaurant, the star thanked his old managers for giving him the confidence he needed to become a tattoo artist.
He said: “Working at McDonald’s gave me skills for life that helped me on my path to becoming an entrepreneur. McDonald’s was my first job and it gave me the tools and confidence to build my own business.”
Away from the show, Jay got engaged to stunning personal trainer Monica Rose Hutton in 2016 and the lovebirds then tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2018.
However, as of now, the pair have not been on each other’s Instagram for a while, and neither of them follow each other – which could hint that the two have called it quits.
The tatted hunk has no doubt inked a slew of megastars, and he even got TV beauty Christine McGuinness in his famous studio.
In an Instagram video shared in July, model Christine and pal Chelcee Grimes visited Jay for Chelcee to get inked up.
For a brief moment, Christine looked as if she was about to cave in and get a tattoo herself, admitting she’s “so easily influenced”.
The ex of Paddy McGuinness didn’t succumb to the pressure and instead watched singer-songwriter Chelcee get a tatt.

Sketch – real name Steven Porter – impressed thousands of viewers on the show with his amazing tattooing skills.
And it seemed it started at a young age, as previously speaking to Channel 4, he said: “I bought a tattoo gun online and just started tattooing my dad.
“He went into a local studio to show them and they gave me a job straight away. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing that though!
“To mark someone on their skin with something that they’re going to carry forever is an amazing thing for an artist.”
He opened his own tattoo shop in Eltham, London in 2011, called Reppin Ink, and four years later he made his telly debut on Tattoo Fixers.
Away from the show, it’s reported that Sketch married a woman called Ra, and the two have four daughters.
One of his daughters even designed a tattoo on his leg, something he says is his favourite tatt.
“It’s probably not my best tattoo, and a lot of people would say ‘it’s terrible, its too deep and it’s scarred’, but my daughter’s one is probably the most meaningful.”
