Davina and Michael first met when she worked on Big Brother as he was her hairdresser and her “therapist” before their friendship blossomed into a romance.
Just two years after splitting from Robertson in 2017, Davina and Matthew went public with their relationship, although some believe they started dating a year prior.
Speaking about their relationship on her podcast, Making The Cut, alongside Michael, Davina said: “I am quite enjoying as a new couple doing new things because we are newly living together.
“It’s quite nice making new traditions because we did that before Christmas, we sat down together and talked about it, ‘Ok, blank space, what shall we make tradition from now on?'”
Both Davina and Michael explained that one of their first traditions while living together was tuning in to The King’s Speech at 3pm on Christmas Day.
The star went on to explain: “My granny and my dad were ardent royalists; my sister was an ardent royalist.
“I have to admit I never really watched the Queen’s Speech but I was really interested to watch the King’s speech this year because it was the first one.
“I loved it because Rebecca stood up and did a salute because my dad would have done that and I loved her for that. I really liked watching it. Let’s make it a new, living-together tradition.”
While being happily in love, Davina is on a mission to help “middle-aged” people find their life partner and revealed she’s “begging” TV bosses to help her.
Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, she said: “I’m literally begging ITV to let me present mid-life Love Island. I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle age people with the best backstories you have ever heard in your life.
“They’ve lived a life. They’re widows. They’re people who have been through horrific divorces. They are people who have split up with somebody and decided they want to try and go out with somebody of the same sex as them. Like interesting people!”
