This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield was made to present the show alone as his co-star left the studio.
The ITV pals were set to be separated as Holly headed off to Buckingham Palace for her duties at the Prince’s Trust Awards.
On Wednesday’s show (May 17), Phil told viewers at home that his co-star would be leaving at midday, leaving him to front the show solo.

Holly is set to leave to help at the awards presentation, whilst Phil will present the last half hour of the show on his own.
This comes as the pair’s future on the show has been up in the air, following feud rumours between the pals.
A source told the Mirror: “Phil’s position is looking increasingly precarious. Monday is very much D-day, but the same could apply to any day next week. No one is bigger than the brand.”
Insiders close to the stars also claim that Phil could be facing the chop.
A source told The Sun: “This Morning is preparing for some seismic changes this summer — and Phil is lined up as the first major name for the chop when his contract expires this summer. It’s highly unlikely he’ll be back in September.”
The ITV show is reportedly looking for “fresh blood” and going to revamp the iconic daytime show in the coming months.
According to the Mirror, This Morning boss Martin Frizell’s position on the show is also up in the air, after being at the helm since 2016.
An insider added: “There is talk behind the scenes of Martin also being knifed as a bit of a fall guy, too — which might save some of the even more senior executives at the broadcaster if things spiral further.”
Tensions between the pair have been growing since their Queugate scandal, alongside Phil’s brother being charged with sexual assault of a minor.
Though Phil still stands bt the fact they are still “best friends” despite all of the feud reports.
In a statement, Phil wrote: “The last few weeks haven’t been easy for us. As I have said before, Holly is my rock.”
“We’re best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.”
