Former TOWIE star Pete Wicks went to extreme lengths to commemorate his time on BBC Two’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
The reality show paired up with the show’s presenter Margie Clarke to find the best deal for the antiques they had found in and around The Cotswolds.
Working against podcast co-host and Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson and his partner Raj Bisram, Margie and Pete unfortunately lost the challenge as they were unable to make the highest amount from auctioning off their goods.
Even though they lost, Pete wanted to do something special after finding “an amazing friendship” in Margie.
“Do you know what, we came away from this with an amazing friendship,” he told Margie. “We said if we won, I was going to have Margi tattooed on me and do you know what, despite losing and because I love you I’m still going to do it.”
Pete added: “I don’t think you realise how much I love you.”
As Pete sat getting the tattoo done, he said to Margie, I bet you didn’t expect to be going this on a road trip with me!” and Margie stood in a corner of the room, laughing.
Once the treatment was done, Pete showed off his fresh ink: “I love it. I absolutely love it!”
Margie was stunned, replying: “I’m speechless!”
Then in a shocking turn of events, 71-year-old Margie took to the tattooing chair to get a small P, for Pete, done on her arm.
Leaving the studio, she told Pete, Sam and Raj who were waiting outside for her: “Another new experience!”
Sam and Raj made just over £400 from their Antiques sales, a grand amount which will be donated to charity.
