Heading over to Instagram on Friday (June 16), the TV specialist gave fans another update and told her followers she will continue to fight on while thanking them for their support.
Sharing a radiant snap of herself smiling alongside her friend, she wrote: “I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been in touch over the last few days – it’s been wonderful to receive so many messages and words of support.
“For anyone out there who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour recently, this photo shows me and my best friend at the weekend.
“I didn’t think I’d still be alive. I didn’t think I had a hope of being well. But I am. It will change, but right now I’m ok.”
Theo also said she will continue to raise awareness on those affected by brain tumour diagnosis.
She continued: “I know this is not how it is for everyone, but if you’ve just been diagnosed, have hope if you can. And let’s keep fighting, keep raising awareness, keep showing that we matter and that we do not accept being overlooked.
“The charity auction is still up and running. See link in bio.”
Seeing her heartfelt message, fans rushed to the comment section to praise her.
One social media follower said: “Thank you Theo for your bravery in sharing your story and all you are doing to help everyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis. You are inspiring so many.”
While another penned: “Healthiest we’ve seen you in a while, and thriving.”
Theo previously told The Sun she was devasted when she first found out she had cancer.
She said: “Receiving my diagnosis, at the age of 35, when my son was one year old, was devastating.”
“And although I continue to make the best of each day, my tumour will return and it will kill me. My care has been excellent and new advances in science have helped me fight cancer so far,” she added.
