Molly-Mae Hague has announced that she and her fiancé Tommy Fury has split after five years together.
The former Love Island stars first met on the ITV dating show back in 2019 and only went from strength to strength after they left the villa. The beloved power couple quickly moved in together and in 2022 the pair announced they were pregnant with their first child.
In January 2023, they announced the arrival of their daughter Bambi, and soon got engaged later that summer. But unfortunately, their love wasn’t built to last, with the mum-of-one calling off their engagement and confirming their split on August 14.

The couple asked fans to “respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.” It’s fair to say their split hasn’t come as a surprise to their dedicated fanbase who have had their suspicions for a while that everything wasn’t quite as it seemed between the pair.
Now that the couple have decided to go their separate ways, Daily Star has taken a deep dive into all the ‘signs’ that the couple were doomed to cut ties.
Nightclub drama
Claims that their relationship was under strain first emerged when the boxer was spotted celebrating after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The star was photographed partying with a group of girls alongside rapper Chris Brown in Dubai in November 2023. Insiders at the time told The Sun that Molly-Mae – who was caring for their daughter at home – wasn’t impressed by his antics.
In one photo, a woman could be seen grabbing the sportsman’s face as they danced along to the loud music. Days later, Molly posted a ringless selfie before she headed out to the gym.
Hopping over to her YouTube channel, the influencer opened up about her struggles and admitted that she was “going through it” in an emotional video. She told fans at the time: “I have been going through it in more ways than one.
“I am hoping, in say about a week, I might be in a place mentally, physically emotionally where I can start filming some proper content for you guys again and get back on my channel. So please bear with me, I am really desperate to come back to you guys.”
Further adding fuel to the fire, she shared a series of glum-looking photos online. When the boxer returned home from his trip, the couple were spotted putting on a united front in the heart of Manchester but her ring was still missing from her finger.
In November, the pair appeared to be all smiles as they took their tot to Winter Wonderland in the heart of London. Although they appeared to have made up, her followers couldn’t help but notice that she had left her enormous £600,000 diamond ring at home.
Fans soon flooded to the comments to share their suspicions online. One user penned: “Something is up with him and Molly…” as another agreed: “Please don’t say this is the end of Molly and Tommy [crying emoji].” Molly’s ring was firmly back on her finger by Christmas.
Birthday snub
Over the next few months, the couple appeared to have made up and regularly appeared in each other’s social media posts. But things appeared to take a turn in May when Molly was spotted without her engagement ring again.
The Filter founder also raised eyebrows when she appeared to ‘snub’ her fiancé on his 25th birthday. In years past, the internet sensation would post gushing tributes to Tommy along with photos of balloon-filled rooms flooded with presents.
This year, she remained silent, as did Tommy. It wasn’t until the following day that Tommy shared a clip of himself and Bambi tucking into some birthday cake, but Molly-Mae was nowhere to be seen.
Absent support
She also remained quiet when Tommy revealed that he has landed a role in an upcoming comedy movie called The Debt Inherited. The TV favourite, who usually shares daily updates on her family life, did not publicly congratulate Tommy on his career move.
Later that month, the pair were separated with Molly partying with her sister Zoe Hague at her hen do in Ibiza while Tommy was in Saudi Arabia supporting his brother Tyson Fury. Unfortunately, the award-winning boxer was defeated by Ukranian sportsman Oleksandr Usyk.
But Molly raised a few eyebrows when she didn’t address Tyson’s loss online, which had people convinced that she had parted ways from the Fury’s. The influencer would usually always show her support for the boxer, but it appears as though she had been too busy partying to comment.
The parents failed to share any loved-up snaps together until they attended Zoe’s wedding in July. It was then that Molly marked their fifth anniversary with a romantic black and white snap together in their wedding attire.
‘Solo parenting’
Last week, the blonde bombshell concerned fans when she admitted that she was struggling to cope as a solo parent in her latest vlog on YouTube. Molly-Mae regularly updates her fans about her life on her channel which has amassed a staggering 1.86million followers.
The mum-of-one explained how she was struggling to find a life balance as a working mum. She told viewers: “I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions.”
She went on to explain how Tommy is working hard on his audiobook which left her to pick up a lot of the parenting duties around the house. Reflecting on what she claims has been the “most intense” week of her life, she showered the sportsman with praise.
The businesswoman gushed: “He’s done it now, and I’m so proud of him, because I know that was a really big deal to him, but I have been solo parenting pretty much the entire week. Actually I’ve been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy’s just been so busy.
“When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifeing.”
Molly-Mae went on to discuss her struggles with motherhood. The TV favourite explained: “I feel like we’re going through a little bit of a challenging phase. Not only with Bambi, but also just with me and trying to juggle a lot.”
