Amanda Holden, 53, wows in strapless bikini on boat after daughter’s hospital dash

Amanda Holden soaked up the sun in the sexiest way possible.

The 53-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge could be seen relaxing on the side of a boat during her Greek getaway. The ageless TV star looked incredible in a strapless blue bikini and matching bottoms.

Amanda was all smiles in her swimwear as she worked on her tan, accessorising with a straw hat and stylish shades. The printed bikini, designed by Melissa Odabash, costs £244.

She leaned back on the railing of the boat and revealed her endless legs while out on the water. The first snap showed the star looking down away from the camera while tugging on her underwear.

The second caught her leaning back and holding onto her hat. Plugging her outfit in the caption, she wrote: “#bikini hat and shirt @melissaodabash #family”.

It comes after Amanda’s 18-year-old daughter Lexi rushed to hospital after contracting a life-threatening bout of E.coli. Amanda said Holly, a model, had been suffering stomach cramps and bloating but had assumed it was exam-related stress.

She said: “Eventually I took her to the GP — who was beyond brilliant — and they insisted on taking blood samples and stool samples, too. Within a few days, the results came back as a bacterial infection”.

The Heart FM host recalled a frightening call from the doctor. She said: “I was driving back home one day and I had Hollie, my youngest, in the car with me when the doctor called and said ‘I don’t want to alarm you Amanda, but Lexi’s bloods and everything else are through the roof. You need to check that her temperature doesn’t rise because she’s in danger of contracting sepsis.'”

Lexi was then taken to hospital and placed on an antibiotic drop. “She had a temperature of 39 point something and was deliriously hot,” Amanda explained. “It was awful seeing her in so much pain.”

Luckily, Lexi was allowed to go home after five days at the hospital, where she was treated by a tropical disease team. She has undergone blood tests since.
