Big Brother’s Marco Pierre White Jr admits robbing ‘Behind Bars’ tattoo shop

Big Brother star Marco Pierre White Jr has admitted to robbing a tattoo parlour called “Behind Bars”.

The reality star, 29, pled guilty to one count of burglary being lodged against him, according to court documents. The serial criminal will be handed his sentence for the robbery late next month.

According to paperwork, the incident took place on September 19, and saw the star – who is the son of legendary chef and Hell’s Kitchen leader Marco Pierre White – enter the parlour. Ironically called “Behind Bars Body Piercing and Tattoo Shop”, Marco was accused of stealing from the business, though details of his crime have not been released.

He had been due to appear before North Somerset Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (October 22), charged in connection with the burglary. However, the star pleaded guilty to stealing from the shop, and the case has since been adjourned, reconvening on November 29.

This is not the first crime that Marco, who appeared in the 2016 edition of Big Brother, has committed. In recent years, Marco has been convicted of several petty theft charges, including burglary and drunken disorder.

Before his current legal battle, Marco’s latest stint in court came in August, when he was sentenced to eight weeks in prison while living at his dad’s hotel. Whilst taking up residence at the Rudloe Hall Hotel in Corsham, he was seen stealing socks from a Sainsbury’s in nearby Chippenham.

As well as this, he committed a number of other thefts, such as a pair of JBL headphones that had a retail price of more than £380. He also burgled The Crown Inn pub in Bath for £2,000 worth of cigarettes, as well as other crimes – including refusing to take a roadside drugs test and driving dangerously on the A350, all while having no licence or insurance.

Marco first shot to fame when he appeared on the seventeenth edition of the reality titan, then airing on Channel 5. The series, which also featured controversial influencer Andrew Tate, saw Marco enter the House as the wild child of his no-nonsense father.

Aged just 21, Marco’s stint in the Big Brother house was short, but sweet, as he became the first housemate to be given the boot from the series. However, in his 11 days in the house, he got hot and steamy with fellow contestant Laura Carter, despite him being in a relationship on the outside.

Just four days after leaving the house, Marco appeared before a magistrates’ court after being charged with drug driving in April of that year, after being caught with a substantial amount of cocaine in his bloodstream. Things would only get worse for the star when he was detained in 2019 for a string of different offences.

In January 2019, he was convicted and fined after branding police officers “f*****s” and “n*****s” while being arrested for being drunk and disorderly at a train station. In June of that year, he was also made to pay more than £1,000 to a restaurant after he dined and dashed when his card was declined.

His longest stint in prison came in 2022, when he pleaded guilty to some 14 offences – including racial abuse and the carrying of a knife. He was handed an 18-month sentence, being released in 2023.
