Danny Dyer turns the air blue as he keeps doing the one thing EastEnders said he couldn’t

EastEnders legend Danny Dyer was banned from doing one thing on the BBC soap – but he’s more than made up for it since leaving.

Since the actor left the show, he has been doing plenty of the one thing the soap banned him from doing – swearing. He has now been cast in new Sky Max comedy Mr Bigstuff and turns the air blue every two minutes.

The TV star plays Lee Campbell in the series who drops a swear word 79 times over the period of six episodes. This includes a whopping 63 F-bombs.

The remainder of his swear estimation also featured six C-words, three s**ts and three b*****ks. Though he did have some other less expletive insults in the bank with him branding people a “prawn”.

In other EastEnders news, a big star is set ‘to return’ to Albert Square ahead of the show celebrating 40 years on-air.

This comes after bosses have already confirmed the return of Michael French who is going to reprise his role as David Wicks. The actor will be coming back to the soap later this year, with fans also calling out for the possibility of his ex.

Soap viewers have now speculated that another legend will come back, David Wick’s ex Carol Jackson, who is played by Lindsey Coulson after 10 years away. This follows the return of David Wicks, played by Michael French, already being confirmed by show bosses.

Fans took to X to debate character returns, with one saying: “Okay now SURELY you have to bring Carol back.” A second posted: “Please bring back Lindsay Coulson.”

While a third typed: “With the legendary Carol Jackson beside him [Michael], I hope.” While a fourth posted: “With all these returns we need Carol Jackson rocking up on her motorbike, helmet off, a shake of the hair, smile and ‘Hello David…’ Thats a Thursday duff duff right there.”

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
