Emmerdale fans are desperate to find out what will become of Cathy Hope following Angelica King’s unexpected murder confession.
It was all kicking off on Tuesday’s visit to Emmerdale as Angelica’s parents Jimmy and Nicola tried to figure out how they were going to solve their daughter’s biggest problem to date. But as they tried to make sense of the situation, Angelica made a run for it and headed over to Bob Hope’s home to confess that she was driving the car when Heath died.
Heath tragically passed away on New Year’s Day in a car crash when he was heading to a party with his twin sister Cathy’s friend and Angelica. As neither of the trio were old enough to drive, the car headed into a ditch with many believing that Cathy was responsible for the accident.
But now that Cathy has been given the all-clear, fans are still desperate to witness her comeuppance as they remind products that she was the one who stole the car in the first place. Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their grievances.

One social media user said: “But she still nicked the car in the first place AND let Angelica take over the driving.” Another penned: “Angelica wouldn’t have been driving if Cathy didn’t steal the car in the first place so she shouldn’t be taking all the blame.”
A third chimed in and wrote: “Now what about Cathy nicking the car, driving without a license/insurance etc and her actions directly contributing to Heath’s death? Or is all that forgotten now?”
While a fourth added: “Angelica was driving & will face the consequences. But Evil Cathy stole the car and put others at risk so therefore she also oughta face consequences for her actions regarding the car and previous actions.”
Later on in the show, a brave Cathy headed to the police station alongside her mum, Nicola. Changing her original statement and confessing to driving the car, Angelica was arrested.
But viewers at home were glad that Angelica admitted to the crime and praised her for telling the truth. Taking to X again, one fan said: “So I’m gathering after tonight’s ep that Angelica is nothing like her parents. Thank god. Glad to see her tell the truth!”
