Emmerdale fans reckon they’ve cracked Will Taylor’s blackmail case, suspecting Lydia Dingle is the shadowy figure giving the businessman sleepless nights. Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) found himself tangled in a saucy affair with old flame Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) earlier this year.
Rose initially seemed keen to patch things up with her daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), but it was soon clear she was plotting with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) to take down Will’s missus Kim Tate (Claire King).
Kim, sharp as ever, caught on to Rose’s revenge scheme and sent her packing from the village, clueless about her hubby’s infidelity. Now, Will’s dirty laundry is close to being aired as he’s bombarded with blackmail threats over his secret romp with Rose, reports Leeds Live.

The drama escalated when Will found an eerie bouquet at his door with a note saying: “I know what you did”, followed by demands for a hefty cash payout.
On Friday’s episode (September 13), the blackmailer turned up the heat, causing Will to snoop around Home Farm after a break-in.
Kim rocks up in the midst of it all, revealing her top horse has been pinched. She grills Will, hinting he might know the identity of the crafty culprit.

Yet, some eagle-eyed ITV soap enthusiasts are betting on Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) as the mastermind behind the blackmail, given her inside scoop on Home Farm’s affairs.
Emmerdale buffs have hit the forums dissecting the latest intrigue around the mysterious blackmailer with theories flying wild. A Reddit user speculated: “I want it to be Lydia.”
Another fan was quick to back this up, saying: “It’s about time she was upgraded to a crime boss, befitting the tradition of the Dingle family.”

Another village gossip added their two pence: “Deffo I could see her now ruling the village haha.”
However, others had a different take on the villain’s identity, one viewer piped up: “I think it’s Kim. Lydia obviously told her and she is getting revenge”. Someone else quipped: “Only b**** in Emmerdale is Lydia”.
