Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall reunites with ‘cheating’ Andrew Buchan for third time after split

Former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall has reportedly reunited with her husband Andrew Buchan, following his cheating rumours.

The 41-year-old has revealed that she’s still married to The Crown actor. Accoding to The Sun, the couple called time on their 11-year marriage in February last year after Andrew left Amy and moved in with actress Leila Farzad, 42.

Following their split, the pair reconciled for a brief time before they broke up again in August 2023. Sharing a hint about her relationship status with The Sunday Times, Amy, who has also starred in Downton Abbey told the publication she was back with her husband during an interview about her finances.

Discussing her yearly salary, Amy said: “Generally speaking, in the last financial year — what can I tell you? — below a hundred grand, but I’m married so it all goes into one pot. So it’s not as scary because I can lean on that.”

She added: “I’m the joint owner of our comfortable family home in Buckinghamshire. We owned a smaller house before.”

The Sun previously alleged that Amy was left “shocked and crying every day” after Andrew fell for his co-star Leila on the set of their BBC show Better two years ago. It is believed the Emmerdale actress had become suspicious after finding lingerie which was not her size.

Despite the underwear drama, Andrew returned to the family home weeks later. But his comeback was short lived. A source told The Sun at the time that there is no evidence that he has cheated. However for Amy “this is it”.

Elsewhere in her inteview, Amy revealed she was forced to sell her home afer she left Emmerdale. The TV star, who played the infamous Chloe Atkinson left the ITV drama in 2004 to pursue a singing career.

But she revealed she fell into financial difficulty and was forced to take drastic action at the time. She said: “I was the lead in Cabaret in the West End at the time, but it was a massive drop in earnings after Emmerdale and I just couldn’t cover everything, so I had to put the flat on the market.
