Manchester Pride 2024’s star-studded line-up certainly won’t disappoint.
The annual event is set to return with a bang this summer and organisers have now revealed the full line up for the four-day weekend. The pride event will take place on Friday, August 23 with celebrations coming to an end on Monday, August 26.
Kicking off the event on Friday is Brit award winner Jessie J, who will be performing in Manchester for the first time in six years. Also returning to Manchester on the opening night is Broadway legend Keala Settle, who is known for her powerful rendition of This Is Me from the hit musical The Greatest Showman.

Other performers taking to the stage on Friday include British drag artist BIMINI, Katy B, Trans Filth & Joy, and Banksie. On Saturday, two-time Eurovision winner and Swedish pop sensation Loreen will headline The Village Stage alongside Rita Ora, who last returned to the city in 2018 with her Girls Tour.
Moving into the Indoor Arena, the parade will pay homage to Manchester’s warehouse clubbing legacy and host the Gaydio Dance Arena. Saturday also welcomes back takeovers from Black Pride MCR to The Village Stage while the Queer Asian Takeover will dominate the Alan Turing stage.
On Sunday, the Sugababes promise to Push The Button on nostalgia with a show-stopping performance as they headline The Village Stage. Celebrating the nostalgia, Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton will join Danny Beard & Friends on stage.
Meanwhile, Steps’ Claire Richards will be performing on the Alan Turing stage alongside Pride Divas with Misty Chance. There’s also a host of Drag Race stars set to dazzle fans including Ginger Johnson, Black Peppa, Danny Beard and Banksie.
The festival will conclude on Monday with a candlelit vigil in the Sackville Gardens. Artists will perform at the “most beautiful and glamorous car park in the western hemisphere” across the weekend celebrations.
This year’s parade promises to “bring all of our communities together to party and protest in solidarity.” Alongside the main Village Stage, the hugely popular street party will dominate around the LGBTQ+ hub on Canal Street, including a host of free events.
Attendees can expect a hugely popular parade which will take over the streets of Manchester on Saturday, August 24. Organisers have confirmed that this year’s theme is Buzzin’ to be Queen – A Hive of Progress.
They said: “The iconic worker bee, deeply rooted in Manchester’s history, emerges as the focal symbol for this year’s Pride Parade theme.” Early bird, Pre Sale and First Release tickets for Manchester Pride have now all sold out, but Second Release Weekend and VIP tickets are still available to buy from Ticketmaster.
Tickets begin from £27.50 for a day ticket, with a fixed donation of £2.50 from every ticket going to the Manchester Pride Community Fund. More information about Manchester Pride Festival 2024 and ticket purchasing can be found on the Manchester Pride website.
