British horror fans appeared to walk out of a new movie because of its gore.
As horror fans tend to have no push against gory scenes, with blood and guts spilling everywhere. However, as the latest instalment of the Terrifier series hit screens here in the UK, it may have been a little too much for some viewers.
According to the PR team for the film, a total of eleven people walked out of the theatre that had been showing the movie, with nine leaving within the first few minutes. They also gleefully cheered that one viewer was so disgusted at what they saw that they puked in the cinema.

The movie is yet to be widely released in the UK, but horror film fans are gearing up for a bloody new chapter in the movie series. It has already been confirmed that the third in the franchise is set to the most enthralling yet, with insane levels of gore not previously seen in the first two.
However, while fans have been excited to see what director Damien Leone has got up his sleeve for the latest instalment, not everyone was happy with his plans. Damien previously admitted that some of the opening scenes were so graphic that Hollywood production companies refused to fund it.
Looking back at the struggle to make the third film, Damien recalled: “I got to meet with studios, like legit Hollywood studios, who wanted to make Terrifier 3. But before I even had a script, just having meetings and getting the feel that I was going to have eyes over my shoulders, and they were concerned about the levels of gore and this and that.”
He continued: “I knew they weren’t going to let me make this movie based on the first five pages. Like, that’s how insane Terrifier 3 is.”
Damien added that the first five minutes of the film would make his creation all the more controversial. He gave few hints as to what the terrifying prospect might be, but did confirm there was no big kill scene in the opening.
Drumming up even more hype for the film, director Damien urged horror fans to get to theatres as soon as possible to catch the gore in its full glory. “If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part two was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet,” he insisted.
Film critics are already raving about the slasher, with the movie currently holding a critical rating score of 93% on aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Remarks from reviewers praised the film for its ability to lean in fully within the horror genre and be unrelenting until the very end.
In one haunting review of the film, Alison Foreman from indieWire magazine said that fans of gore were going to love it. “Terrifier 3 is decking the halls with a triumphant celebration that’s horrifying for all the right reasons, and snaps into focus what it is that Leone does singularly well; that may or may not win people over, but it shouldn’t lose any repeat customers.”
