Spencer Matthews, the ex-Made In Chelsea hunk turned endurance champ, has had his shredded six-pack compared to the holy visage of Jesus Christ himself.
Having smashed out a jaw-dropping 30 marathons in as many days, Spencer stood proud alongside his missus, Vogue Williams, and the fans couldn’t help but spot a divine twist in his chiselled torso.
The contours of his washboard abs have apparently taken on the image of Christ’s noggin, with a pair of peepers crafted from muscle and his belly button serving up a quirky grin, as noted by the cheeky crew at What’s The Jam.
Sheena threw her two pence in, questioning: “Anyone else thinks that looks like Jesus on his abs? ” Kate cracked a smirk, quipping: “A blow up doll Jesus, but yes.”
Penny wasn’t shy about joining the banter either, jesting: “Our father which art in the abdominals. Hallowed be thy navel.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
All those miles pounded on the sand weren’t just for kicks though; Matthews was raking in the cash for the charity Make Some Noise by Global, bagging over a hefty £350,000.
Owing to his Herculean hustle, Spencer now boasts the world title for the most back-to-back marathons run on the beach, capping off the last sprint on Tuesday (August 27th).
Come January, word on the street had it that the 36 year old telly star and business mogul broadcasted a before-and-after snap of his fitness journey online, with Spencer preaching how health and fitness are now the keystones of his existence.
In one of the shots, you could clock Spencer flexing in the gym sans top, flaunting not just a stone-carved six-pack but boulder-like biceps too.
Meanwhile, another snap caught the celeb rocking denim jeans during his Made in Chelsea days. Spencer spilled on Instagram that back then he was “run down and unfit” due to a nasty drinking issue.
He dished out on Instagram: “On the left I was photographed in the street whilst filming Made In Chelsea. Run down and unfit – living with a serious drinking problem, spending all of my time and money partying. I was lazy, inconsiderate and had a weak work ethic.”
Spencer went further, confessing that his “ego was inflated” during his high-flying stint as a “prominent character” on the show, but realised that killer opportunities don’t just rock up without putting in the graft and sweat.
