Geordie Shore icon Charlotte Crosby makes career announcement and says ‘I don’t want to do it’

Charlotte Crosby is retiring from reality TV after 13 years.

Since finding fame on Geordie Shore, she has starred on countless hit shows, but she can’t be bothered to do any more because they aren’t lucrative enough. She said: “I love TV and some people want to do everything they’re offered. But I’ve done that now.

“Anything that seems a bit too strenuous, I just don’t really want to do it. I don’t really want to do shows that are going to be too much effort.

“It’s just a little pay packet and then it’s over. I’m striving for bigger things right now.” Charlotte is now determined to make it big in business.

The star reckons that will earn her far more than any reality show. She said: “I’ve got two businesses. I want to be a successful owner who one day sells her business for millions of pounds and I don’t think dancing in the ballroom on Strictly is going to get me there.

“I’m ready to take over the business world. I find the business world electric.

“It’s a rollercoaster. It’s up and down. There’s a fear of bankruptcy. But I love being creative.”

Charlotte’s announcement came after Paramount+ announced she’d be in a brand new show following her pregnancy journey. The show has the working title of Geordie Shore: Charlotte’s Having Another Baby and will see Charlotte and her other half Jake Ankers gear up for round two in the baby department.

At the time, Charlotte gushed: “I am back and beyond excited to show you all our special journey as we prepare for baby number two! I hope you’re all ready for the madness to begin in my most favourite era yet motherhood.”

The series, being put together by MTV Entertainment Studios, is set to feature four 44-minute episodes.

With cameras already rolling, fans won’t have to wait too long as this fresh series is set to debut exclusively on Paramount+ come 2025.
